About two and a half hours flying time from most European cities, Malaga, the capital of the Costa del Sol, casts a very special charm in the Advent season, featuring its spectacular Christmas lighting.Millions of colourful lights, blossoming Poinsettia and illuminated traditional cribs give the romantic Old Town a festive splendour and invite for a stroll.

The Christmas lights in Malaga are lit throughout the month of December to the 6th of January. During this time the streets are very lively with pedestrians taking a walk and enjoying the lighted atmosphere.
