By 2026, Malaga has gained a new Michelin Star, bringing the total to 10 Michelin stars in the province this year, a new record.
Palodú * Malaga
A new Michelin star was awarded for 2026 in the historic centre of Malaga. Palodú, with the chefs Cristina Cánovas and Diego Aguilar at the helm.

The restaurant, located just steps from the iconic Atarazanas Central Market, has implemented the “dual kitchen” concept.
Its two chefs trained in renowned restaurants such as El Lago, Tickets and Tragabuches.

In this personal project, their cuisine is approached without hierarchy, with the utmost respect, using raw ingredients without excess or unnecessary artifice. No dish leaves the kitchen without both of their approval.
There are two tasting menus, a long one and a short one, “Palodú” and “Alcazul,” each with its own wine pairing.

The elegant 300-square-meter space, with its wood-paneled walls, features eight tables and a maximum capacity of 30 diners.
It also boasts a terrace with views of the Alcazaba.

Blossom offers two tasting menus, differing in the number of courses: Esencia, with 9 courses, and Confluencia, with 15 courses, each with its own wine pairing.
