Customers who already know us, know: we like to innovate! So last year we were one of the first car rental companies to introduce electric scooter hire at the airport.
This year, with the Covid-19 pandemic, the sale of motorhomes has skyrocketed in Malaga, and frankly, we thought it would be a fantastic idea to offer camper and motorhome rental in Malaga, as a new way of travelling around the Costa del Sol and as an alternative to traditional accommodation, both for groups of friends and for family holidays.

Due to the current Covid situation, we have also chosen to add additional services for our customers, to provide maximum comfort and security in these times.
Pick up at the airport
During the current Covid situation we have changed the welcome procedure at the Arrivals terminal. Don’t be surprised if you don’t currently see our staff greeting you as you leave through the sliding arrivals doors in terminal 3.
Now our representative is waiting for you outside the Arrivals hall, next to the usual stop of our minibus. Don’t worry about the process, in your booking confirmation we will explain it to you in more detail!
Home delivery and collection
Many customers are going to love this new feature! We now also offer home service to the following destinations:
Málaga, Rincón de la Victoria, Vélez Málaga, Torre del Mar, Nerja, Frigiliana, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas Costa, Marbella, Puerto Banús, Estepona, Manilva and Puerto de la Duquesa.
For all those clients who can’t get to the airport, we bring their car home. During the booking process you can choose the nearest destination and specify the delivery and collection address.
Remember that we offer free cancellation on any booking.

Disinfection of vehicles
We are concerned about the maximum safety of our clients; therefore each car undergoes a rigorous disinfection process before being rented again.
+ We collect the vehicle and clean the most critical parts with disinfectant, such as the steering wheel, handles, radio, etc.
+ It is left parked for a minimum of 2 days.
+ When it is ready for the next rental, it is disinfected again and cleaned completely (vacuuming, interior surfaces and washing tunnel).
This is an extra effort, but we are happy to do so in order to ensure the safety of our customers.
Road assistance with Malagacar.com in a few easy steps
We now deliver your Malagacar with a practical OR code on the car key. You only have to open the camera of your mobile phone, hold it close to the code and the camera will read it. In a few steps we will know your location and contact you immediately to send you the necessary assistance. Find out more here.
What documents do I need to rent a car in Malaga?
Hiring a car with us is very easy and basically you only need 3 things:
Your passport or ID card, driving licence and a valid credit/debit card.
