In the Sierra de Cazorla, you'll find a recreational area near Arroyo Linarejos, an area of diverse flora and fauna with access to numerous trails. It's perfect for a peaceful day surrounded by nature. This recreational area includes parking, a pool, tables, and a fountain, making it an ideal stop for eating or drinking before starting any of the trails.
To reach the recreational area, take the A-319 from Cazorla towards the Tranco de Beas reservoir. After crossing the bridge over the Guadalquivir River, you'll find access to the recreation area.
This route is only 45 minutes long and suitable for all ages. It begins in Cazorla and is one of the most popular trails, accompanied by the sound of the Guadalquivir River along the entire route.
Take the A-319 that leads to the Sierra and follow the road to Vadillo Castril. Past the entrance of the village, you'll see signs indicating the start of this route. It begins with a slight slope with a wooden railing along a dam on the Guadalquivir River.
The trail continues to a viewpoint 60 metres high, passing several waterfalls. Continue to ascend the slope over the river to the Linarejos waterfall, then proceed to the powerhouse, following signs indicating the way to the parking lot.
From the Linarejos recreational area, continue up to the Valdeazores creek. Follow the shore on a descent to the lagoon and the Los Organos marsh.
After two small, narrow tunnels and a rocky path, you'll reach a power plant. Pass the power plant and descend to the fish farm and the Torre del Vinagre interpretation centre. This route is suitable for biking.

Head towards Cazorla and take the mountain road A-319 towards the Tranco de Beas reservoir. Take the JF-7092 road and, two kilometres from the bridge that crosses the river on the JF-7091 road, you'll find the Linarejos recreational area.
If you don't have a vehicle, you can rent a car at Malaga airport to reach this and many other destinations from Malaga.
