The sunny Costa del Sol is not only a popular destination during the summer months. With over 300 days of sunshine, it offers a mild climate all year round which makes it a very attractive destination for your dream wedding by the sea.
Perhaps you would like to spend a few days here with your partner to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Malaga?
Even in February, the traditionally coldest month on the Costa del Sol, we can already feel spring, the skies are blue and there is an abundance of flowers.
If you are thinking about a future engagement, this could be a good opportunity to get to know Málaga and the infinite possibilities it offers.
Here are just a few of the reasons why the Costa del Sol could be the right choice for your wedding. Obviously, we are not a wedding agency, but a car rental at Malaga airport, and therefore we do not claim to be exhaustive in this matter.
The weather in Malaga
One of the key factors for a beautiful wedding is undoubtedly the good weather.
If your idea is to enjoy this special event outdoors and in a more relaxed and Mediterranean atmosphere, the Costa del Sol is a safe destination. As we mentioned before, Malaga has more than 300 days of sunshine a year.
While the months of July and August may be less suitable for a wedding by the sea, due to the high temperatures during the day and the large number of bathers, the months of May, July, September and October are perfect.
We can enjoy summer days, but without scorching, stroll along beaches, swim and take pictures without crowds, with fantastic sunrises and sunsets always included.
If you still choose to celebrate your wedding in high season, we recommend evening celebrations, as they are more comfortable for the guests.
