The hiking trail we discuss below starts in the town of Huelva with the name of Almonaster, a path that leads to Cerro San Cristobal, the second highest peak in Huelva and that will show you the wonders of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche.
Before you start, you can visit some of the monuments found in Almonaster; among these locations we suggest the tenth century mosque, built on a Visigoth church of the V century and the baths El Manzano with medicinal waters and built in the early twentieth century.
The start of the route is uphill and is surrounded by ancient buildings and ravines, a path from where you can enjoy beautiful views both along the way as well as from the top
- - The circular route is about 6 kilometres and it will take just over two hours to complete.
- The difficulty of the route is average
