This beautiful route has some unmarked forks with which we have to be careful as we run the risk of getting lost. It is a very nice and representative itinerary of the Natural Park Sierra de Aracena, walking through woods and along the banks of the river which favours the presence of associated animals as toads, frogs, newts, salamanders and many more.
The route begins in Jabugo located at an altitude of over 600 meters and 100 kilometres from the capital. In Jabugo, if you have time, you can enjoy its famous ham.
You can go linearly to Castaño del Robledo or make a circular route passing near Galaroza.
The end of the journey is in Castaño del Robledo, a town situated in Sierra de Aracena and surrounded by oak and chestnut trees at an altitude of 738 meters; it’s the highest situated village in Huelva. In this village you can find a restaurant, a hostel if you want to spend the day there and some entertainment and shopping areas.

- Castaño del Robledo has a small hotel to stay if needed.
