Summer Market Muelle Uno Málaga

At Pier One (Muelle Uno) there is always something to enjoy and in accordance with the high temperatures, the summer market has been adapted with evening opening hours, to enjoy a stroll along the stalls of clothes, accessories, food, jewellery in the cool breeze by the sea.

Until 12 September in the main square, Monday to Thursday from 12 to 11 pm and Friday to Sunday from 12 to 12 pm.

Performing Arts Festival Sohail Castle Fuengirola

For the first time the Sohail Castle is part of this festival, with eleven theatre, dance and circus performances taking place between 20 July and 12 August.

Tickets are on sale at www.festivalanfitrion.es and at the ticket office at the Castle, which will open one hour before the performance and will only accept payment by credit card. The venue will open one hour before the show. All shows start at 10 pm. The festival complies with all Covid-19 preventive measures.

Jazz & Blues Nights Torremolinos

This summer Torremolinos hosts a succulent offer of free outdoor music events. If you like Jazz and Blues, mark these dates! The concerts take place at the stage of Parque de la Batería at 22 h. Admission is free.

Benalmádena Theatre and Musicals Festival

First edition of this festival to be held outdoors throughout July and August at 22h in the auditorium of Benalmádena, with a varied programme for all audiences, ages and tastes, to enjoy the theatre under the light of the stars.

Young Summer Torremolinos

 

Many free activities are offered this summer for young people in Torremolinos between 12 and 35 years old, such as Paddle Surf and Volleyball classes at Playamar beach on the 5th and 19th of August.

To take part, you need to book your place by emailing juventud@torremolinos.es or calling 659 870 542. Places are limited.

Flamenco in Torremolinos

If you like Flamenco, in Torremolinos you have the opportunity to enjoy several free shows throughout the month of August. Many of the shows take place in the Plazas, however, as seating is limited, advance booking is required by emailing the following address.

Route of the Ammonites at sunset in El Torcal

Enjoy a guided route at sunset in the spectacular natural setting of El Torcal in Antequera. As well as enjoying this unique limestone enclave, you’ll also be cooled down, as it is located at an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level.

The guided tours take place every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in July and August. The participant will receive a personalised message specifying the correct timetable according to the date booked. The activity lasts approximately 3 hours.

Marenostrum Castle Park Concerts Fuengirola

Marenostrum Fuengirola is one of the most spectacular open-air music venues and one of the most exclusive stages in Spain due to its proximity to the sea next to the Moorish fortress Sohail.

In the 2021 edition there will be more than 50 concerts for all kinds of audiences, from June to September. Some of this year’s artists are:
El Kanka (2 August); Cantajuego (3 August); God Save the Queen (4 August), Luna Sur (5.- 8. August), Monica Naranjo (13 August), Ultra Beach (21 August), Los Morancos (3 August), Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba (26 August), Metal Paradise (28./29. August), Miguel Poveda (4 September) and many more.

The shows have all the hygienic-sanitary guarantees. In addition, all tickets for the concert series will be covered by a cancellation insurance. So that, if the spectator cannot attend for health reasons or if the show is cancelled, the organisers will refund the full amount of the ticket.

VII Malaga Flamenco Biennial
