This year one of the most popular fairs in Andalusia is back at last. The Malaga Fair takes place from 13 to 20 August 2022.
The Malaga Fair is one of the liveliest and most popular fairs and attracts every year a large number of local and foreign visitors who enjoy lots of music, dancing and cold Cartojal to combat the high temperatures.
The fair takes place during the day in the streets of the historic centre and then moves at night to the fairgrounds where people continue to party until dawn.

Benalmadena Theatre and Musicals Festival
This summer sees the second edition of this festival which takes place outdoors in the Municipal Auditorium of Arroyo de la Miel from 5th July to 27th August.
The event venue has a restaurant area open to the public from 8:30 pm until 2 am with selected tapas.
Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Gala
The Bullring of la Malagueta in Malaga will host this equestrian show on the 6th of August by the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Foundation.
A very special show to see 26 Andalusian horses dance in one of the most beautiful exhibitions of the art of dressage.
Tickets are priced for families: Children up to 4 years old free and from 5 to 12 years old, 5 € in all seats except barrier.

Music & Pool Sunsets Benalmadena
This new event takes place every Friday at the Beach club Holiday World Resort from 7pm.
It is designed for the entertainment of the whole family. While the kids can have fun in the 9 pools, slides and wave pool, the parents can do the ideal thing: enjoy live concerts.
Included in the entrance fee is a snack buffet dinner and drinks.
Guests staying at the Holiday World – one of the best hotels for children on the Costa del Sol – get a discount.

El Torcal – Route of the Ammonites
These guided tours take place in the Torcal in Antequera at sunset during the summer months.
El Torcal is a fantastic natural labyrinth of stones sculpted by erosion.
It is situated at an altitude of over a thousand metres, one hour from Malaga.

Summer Open Cinema Malaga
One of the pleasures of summer is the cinema on the beach. These are usually family-friendly screenings that start at sunset (at 22:15 h) and are free of charge.
The summer cinema for the urbanites of Malaga takes place until 11 August in the different districts of the city, on the beaches, in parks and other public spaces.

Three Cultures Festival Frigiliana
The famous white village Frigiliana hosts for 3 days the Festival of the Three Cultures. During these days, the village is transformed to be an example of peaceful coexistence beyond beliefs and religions.
This village in the Axarquia region is known as the “Village of the three cultures” because of the different civilisations that have passed through its streets: Arabic, Jewish and Christian.
There will be an extensive programme with musical performances, conferences and gastronomic days, which take place in its streets, as well as activities, parades, music, juggling, fakirs, belly dancing and children’s activities along with a traditional market complete the offer for those days.

Estepona World Ham Festival
This fair dedicated to Iberian ham takes place from 6 to 15 August. During these gastronomic days there will also be free concerts.
The event takes place in the streets and on the promenade, with more than 70 stands to sample the best of Iberian ham-related products.
