In the heart of Puerto Banús will take place a new edition of the Marbella Fashion Show on the 7th and 8th of July with national and international designers.

The event will take place on Avenida Lola Flores, with catwalks and an exhibitors’ area.

The catwalks will take place every day at 8 pm and 9 pm. On Friday 7th will participate Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Esteban Freiría, Pepe Canela, Romeo Couture, Minerva, Susana Hidalgo and Malne.

On the 8th Starlite Universe, Sensse, Maumar, Alberta Soy Yo, Ky by Anna, Ruta, Émere, Samba, Podium and Anne de Manel Luxury.

Tango Málaga

A new edition of this festival which takes place in the open-air enclosure of the Benalmádena Municipal Auditorium, from 20th July to 12th August.

This summer you can enjoy shows such as “Peter The Musical”, “Origin” by El Mago Yunke, “The Great Acrobatic Circus of China”, the comedies “Journey with us” and “The Credit”, and the musical recital “Div@s”.

Open water swimming Torremolinos


A sporting appointment to take part in the open swimming that takes place on 29 July along the Torremolinos coastline. There is the option of a 3.5-kilometre and a 7-kilometre swim.

Although the registration period for this event has already ended, we include it in case you want to come to the beaches to participate in the festive atmosphere.

The 7-kilometre swim starts at La Carihuela beach and the 3.5-kilometre swim starts at El Bajondillo, with the finish line located at Los Álamos, next to the Restaurant-Chiringuito “El Sardiná”.

This open-air auditorium in the heart of Malaga offers until 24 August a new edition of the Festival of Performing Arts and Music by young artists and companies from Malaga.

In total there are 16 shows as varied as Spanish dance, contemporary, classical, flamenco or breakdance, concerts of jazz, soul, classical music or pop-rock, indie, fusion, hip hop, metal.

The performances will start at 8:45 pm. except for the MálagaCrea Rock concerts which will start at 8 pm. on 13 and 27 July and 3 and 10 August.

Admission is free until full capacity is reached.

The processions of the Virgen del Carmen are a seafaring tradition that is lived with fervour and great devotion in the province of Malaga: from Nerja to Manilva, in many coastal towns large maritime processions are held on the occasion of the Carmen festivities.

The processions in Pedregalejo (Malaga), Carihuela (Torremolinos) and Estepona are particularly beautiful and moving.

July in Malaga is equivalent to summer in full swing: Endlessly blue skies, sun & beach.

Summer on the Costa del Sol also means heat. The daily temperatures are around 30ºC and the night-time temperatures do not go above 22ºC.

It is also typical of Malaga summer to have the occasional day with Terral wind which raises the temperature to well over 30ºC in the blink of an eye.

What clothes should I bring for July in Malaga?

You can bring your favourite summer clothes, flip-flops, sandals and sunscreen, you will need it.

Remember that in Malaga we have very high humidity, which means you are basically sweating all day long.
