Things to do in Malaga in July 2021

This month of July in the province of Malaga is full of activities. It seems that since last year we couldn’t celebrate the summer in style with our beloved visitors, this year we have to celebrate twice as much. We are not lacking in enthusiasm, are we?

The billboards are full to the brim with lots and lots of music, theatre and musicals, of course, under the stars on warm summer nights, on the best stages in the province, come and join us!

Theatre and Musicals Festival Benalmádena

First edition of this festival to be held outdoors throughout July and August at 10 pm in the auditorium of Benalmádena, with a varied programme for all audiences, ages and tastes, to enjoy the theatre under the light of the stars.

El Portón del Jazz, Alhaurín de la Torre

Finca El Portón hosts jazz concerts every Friday in July at 10 pm.

In July takes place the first Comedy Festival in Torremolinos, in the Auditorio Municipal Príncipe de Asturias, in Torremolinos on the 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th of July.

Music and Museums, MUMU 2021 at the Museum of Málaga

Starlite Marbella

This year marks the ninth edition of this benchmark musical event at the Cantera de Nagüeles, a natural amphitheatre surrounded by breath-taking scenery. Marenostrum Castle Park Conciertos Fuengirola

Marenostrum Fuengirola is one of the most spectacular open-air music venues and one of the most exclusive stages in Spain due to its proximity to the sea next to the Moorish fortress Sohail.

In the 2021 edition there will be more than 50 concerts for all kinds of audiences, from June to September. Some of this year’s artists are:
La M.O.D.A. (July 30th); Sidecars (July 31st); El Kanka (August 2nd); Cantajuego (August 3rd); God Save the Queen (August 4th), Luna Sur (August 5th-8th), Monica Naranjo (August 13th), Ultra Beach (August 21st), Los Morancos (August 3rd), Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba (August 26th), Metal Paradise (August 28th-29th), Miguel Poveda (September 4th) and many more.

The shows have all the hygienic-sanitary guarantees. In addition, all tickets for the concert series will be covered by a cancellation insurance policy. So that, if the spectator cannot attend for health reasons or the show is cancelled, the organisers will refund the full amount of the ticket.

VII Málaga Flamenco Biennial

From July 9th to September 17th, this edition will be held at the Malagueta bullring and in several municipalities of the province, with more than 70 activities.
